Pair DOT-RIGHT with DOT-LEFTs
1. Place both Dots (DOT-RIGHT and DOT-LEFT) inside the case correctly. (Both dots will show unblinking red light).
2. Unpair AirDots (If any) from the BlueTooth (BT) paired devices on the phone (this is important).
3. Remove both dots from the case.
4. (a) Hold down (push) both dot touchpads simultaneously until both dots show stable red light (you may have to try several times to complete this stage).
(b) Release pushing pads. Red lights of both dots will be OFF now.
5. (a) Hold down both dot touchpads again till both dots start blinking (white light first) and after a while blinking will change to red-white light for a short time (~2 secs) for both dots. Each dot may take different time to do this. Keep an eye, this is important. At this point, both dots will start blinking white light again. Continue holding both dot pads.
(b) As you continue holding both pads as said in 5(a), blinking white lights will turn to red-white blinking 2nd time. (Notice red-white blinking must occur 2 times in total [5(a) and 5(b)] to pair left and right dots). This is very important.
(c) Notice blinking lights for both dots will turn off at this stage after a while. Please release pushing both dot pads. It may take 10 to 30 seconds to complete step 5 (a), 5(b) and 5(c).
6. [NOTE] At this stage both dots are paired (DOT-LEFT is paired with DOT-RIGHT). Later you have to pair the RIGHT DOT with the phone! Phone will pair with the DOT-RIGHT only!
7. Put both dots in the case. Be sure both dots show stable red lights. You may close the lid of the case now. (Keep dots in the case for 4-5 secs at this stage).
8. Remove both dots out of the case.
10. [NOTE] At the beginning both dots will be flashing lights (White ultimately). After 5-10 secs, DOT-LEFT should stop flashing (this is important) and DOT-RIGHT should continue blinking slowly white light. Now the white blinking DOT-RIGHT is ready to pair with the phone. Continue to SECTION 2 steps.
SECTION 2
Pair DOT-RIGHT with the phone
1. Turn ON BT on your phone and start scanning to add new device (in this case DOT-RIGHT).
2. Only DOT-RIGHT will show up on your phone (No DOT-LEFT will be shown, this is important!).
3. Touch DOT-RIGHT on phone to connect and pair with the phone. DOT-RIGHT will be paired and connected with the phone. You know, DOT-LEFT is already paired and connected with the the DOT-RIGHT [SECTION 1]. (At this stage you may click dot pads to select Google Assistant or Samsung Bixby)
4. Now put both DOTS into your ears. Open Google ‘Play music’ app on your phone. Start a song attached with the “Play music” app. You will listen to the songs in both ears (This means Stereo mode is working and everything is perfectly working!).
NOTE: You can say “okay google” and give command to dots saying “Play next song” or “previous” to listen to the previous song. Also, “Stop playing” command is okay. You may also stop playing songs by putting both DOTS in to the case.
